Biography

Chris was Born in Yeovil Somerset to proud Parents Patricia And Brian, and from the age of 5 Chris showed a keen interest in the inherited Upright Piano that his great Aunt left for him in her will. Chris would spend many hours amusing himself on the Piano and was even joined by his sister Dawn on Clarinet on occasions. Thanks to the generosity of Chris's Dad Brian, in 1986 Chris had his 1st Organ, A Yamaha ME-55 a small Electone Organ with 13 Note Pedalboard. A Year Later whilst working for Ivor Sparks at Music Mill in Yeovil chris Traded the ME-55 in for A Yamaha HS4 Electone. This was a step up from the ME-55 and Chris was keen to have this having been inspired by Organist "Brian Sharp" who at that time was gigging a Yamaha HS8. Chris was working in a perfect organ environment having chance to play both old and new Electronic Organs and keyboards, and the following year swap the HS4 Electone for A Technics EN4. This was A great Organ and Chris gigged on a regular basis with the help of his Dad and a borrowed Van!

As time moved on, circumstances change as they do and Chris found it difficult to Gig with an organ as it is a 2 man job normally (especially upstairs!) So the Technics EN4 was soon to go and be replaced by A much more managable portable Keyboard. That being A Yamaha PSR8000. This was to make its mark in the history of Brilliant Intruments from the Giant Yamaha. Time moves on and so does technology, and currently Chris Tours and gigs with the incredible Yamaha Tyros 3 Keyboard, along with A State of the Art Digital Piano and A Ketron SD2 Module.
